Our COVID-19 Guidelines

New Lockdown Announcement

Vibrations will continue to stay open for working bands and solo musicians. These restrictions have been in place since the 2nd lockdown came into effect on the 5th January. Working musicians will still be allowed to rehearse as it is part of their work.

Unfortunately, this means that the majority of our customers, who practice for social and recreational reasons, will not be allowed to practice again until these restrictions end.

As you can imagine, we are receiving a very low number of bookings from working musicians so throughout January we will be operating on a limited schedule. As always, our availability is available to view and book on our website.

Social Distancing Guidelines

We have devised a number of guidelines in order to safeguard yourselves and our staff.

Please take your time to read over them before booking.

  • Multiple hand sanitisers available around the building and in the reception area.

  • Face coverings must be worn in all Communal areas and in rehearsal rooms (Exceptions are for singers, who need to keep a consistent distance of 2m+ from other members of the group)

  • We need to control the flow of customers arriving at the studio. For this reason our start times will now be staggered. Please stick to this time and try not to arrive too early or too late. The time you book includes your load in and load out time.

  • We will no longer be booking bands back to back. Instead, we will be leaving a gap to allow us to sanitise the studios and equipment. For this reason we also ask you do not overrun on your session.

  • After each rehearsal, we will go into the studios and disinfect all of the door handles, power and light switches, amp knobs, drum hardware, mic stands and pa faders etc. This will help minimise any associated risk of virus transmission.

  • Where possible please bring your own microphones. If you do need to use ours, then please be assured that they will be throughly cleaned with the microphone grills changed and sanitised between sessions.

  • When using the toilet, we can all adhere to social distancing guidelines. There will not only be hand soap and paper towels to dry hands but we will be regularly using disinfectant spray over the flush buttons, taps, door latches and toilet seat.

  • At this time we are also asking that customers do not congregate in the conservatory area. Drinks and ‘Steve Snacks’ will be available but to take away outside or to your studio.

  • Please pay by card if possible. We also accept PayPal, Bank Transfer or can send you a link to pay online.

  • Please leave the entrance clear at all times. If you go outside for a break please stand away from the main entrance.

  • Unfortunately we are no longer able to help you load equipment in from your car as this is a risk of spreading infection, although a dolly board can be provided to help you with the heavier items.

  • There will be a number of large, easy to read notices up around the studios, displaying the current guidelines. We kindly ask you to follow this advice laid out on these notices at all times.

  • If you or any of your household are showing symptoms of Covid-19 please call and cancel your booking as to not risk spreading the virus to other customers or our staff. For the time being we will not be charging any cancellation fees as we’re prioritising our customers safety.

  • If you’re seen to not be abiding by any of the guidelines above you we reserve the right to ask you to leave the studio.

If anybody has any concerns or would like to discuss any of these matters with us please get in touch on
